Post 3: Someone I would like to meet

Well, It`s very difficult to say "I would like to meet", but I tell about J.R.R.Tolkien; maybe it`s a little nerd, but I love the books written by him as the trilogy "The lord of the rings" and the books connected with these.
J.R.R. Tolkien was British, a He was born in Orange, Africa, the January 3 of 1892. He was an orphan   with 12 years old and he went to live to Birmingham, when he learnt ancient languages and others as Greek, Latin, French, English, Welsh, Finnish and Icelandic. With all this material Tolkien as well as create sounds and new language for his mithology books characters.
He traveled with his 12 friend to Switzerland, trip that was inspiration to write "The Hobbit". In this book, Tolkien created all the world in the Medieval Period and the fight between good and evil. Also  new characters appeared  from his imagination as, hobbits, elves, men and dwarf.
Then this book, that was a success, the publisher asked for other books, The trilogy "The lord of the ring".
Well, I read almost all the books of Tolkien, I saw the adaptations to the cinema, and I love this world. because for this wrote about Tolkien, for his big imagination, beautiful account and way of narrate the Medieval history through of fiction, and the way entertaining.

Post 2: The best concert ever

When I was little girl with 9 years old, I listened to "Los Prisioneros" a lot, because my parents listened to them too. We have the CD`s of this group, but they got separated in1991, and I was born in 1992 for that reason I never had the chance to see them live.
Remember that just in 2001, "Los Prisioneros" announced their return to scene with some concert in Nacional Stadium. My dad bought the tickets as soon as he heard the news. He talked with my aunt and went to concert with my cousin. That saturday, the Stadium was full of people, it was my first time in a concert and the "Nacional Stadium". We got in, and went up the stairs to the gallery, the stage looked very small, but I was very excited, because the people yelled and whistled.
When it got dark, "Los Prisioneros" came to the  stage and all was MAGIC and AMAZING, I remember singing all songs, the people lighted up Stadium with their lighter in many songs and jumped on the seats, because I was small.
It was great to be at the reunion and back to "Los Prisioneros".

A picture and its story

This picture is very important to me, because we were in Cerro Castillo National Park in Aysen of vacations and this was the first long trip for us as a couple, so that it as very significant. This travel started in february of 2016. We travel by plane from Santiago to Coyaique, with aiming of make trekking or 3 or 4 days until get to the Cerro Castillo.

We started trekking in Horquetas, in the middle of the road, with very cold and rain. The landscapes  are beautiful and amazing, with lots of forest, waterfalls and rivers; but with a big problem, our backpacks weighed 23 kilos each, those that caused many body aches and crying in my case. For 4 days of up and down hills, of stand the cold, we could reach our destination, thanks to the fellowships, love and beautiful landscapes.

That´s why i like this pictures, because it cost to get there, I am with my boyfriend and It reminds me a lot of those amazing vacations.

In my life I had quite pets, they are almost every dogs except for a turtle: Samuel, Coya, Aucan, Antu and Logan the turtle of water. I remember that Samuel (dog) it was my first pets, he scape of my house and never came back. Then in 2001 year arrived Coya, a beautiful Labradora, that accompany us (the family) for 13 years. She was very happy and very good for rob socks and then bury them in patio. She die of cancer and also was old.

In 2003 arrived to my family Logan for a very absurd reason: a presentation of my brother in first grade. Well this turtle of water is alive yet, he is 16 years old and I think that he will live many more years. Logan enjoys swimming and lying on the dock.

Well, my third dog was Aucan, a golden retriever very tender and adorable. He was a shooting star in my life, he arrived whit one month and half of life, and he live 24 days with us (family) and then he die. Aucan was sick, he had neurologic distemper that he did suffer a lot and also to my family. Aucan taught me that a life happens very quickly and you have to be happy and enjoy to the fullest.

Finally in the 2015 years arrived Antu, other golden retriever (yes, I love them) my present pet, even though he is the baby of house. Antu is very flashy, he sleep whit me in my bed, he enjoy to go the park and run. When I arrive to my house, he jump and stretch for that love him. He is all, is the maximum, I love him with all my heart.   

My favorite piece of technology

I think that speak about “my favourite piece of technology” it´s so complicated, because I don´t like to depend on technology, but in currently the people are dependent and they (including me) make all with technology, and there is a need to show our lives. Well, after the introduction, I would like to talk about the cellphone. This piece of technology has many functions as listening to music, taking photography, recording, typing emails, notes and whatsapp, talking on the telephone, it´s my alarm and sometimes replaces the computer. The bad things of cellphone, maybe, is the small for memory for storing pictures and documents. I try not to look at the cellphone, but I do it and lose my time looking at stories and pictures on instagrams or facebook. In general, I try to take care of my cellphone, because it´s was a present of my parents and I know that it´s expensive.

Why did you choose the career you're studying?

Well, In my case this is my second career, first I studied history degree, because i love to learn, read  and know information of past at chile and  world. I finished that career in 2017, when i defended my thesis. But I decided to study dance in 2015, because I discovered that the dance is my passion; for that I prepared myself  with  ballet, contemporany dance and physical conditioning lessons,  in order to succeed in the  audition. I still love History and in the future I would like to teach.

In january of 2016 I auditioned to dance  and I was  accepted. At present I am in third superior year (name of years in the faculty, because have basic phase) or fourth year.  The dance classes are very entertaining and i like them because I learn with and from the body.  

Hello! I am Maria Jesus Urquizar Cañas and I am 26 years old. I was born in Santiago of Chile and I have lived all my life here. I live with my brother, parents and my lovely dog: Antu.


Well my school years were very interesting and funny, because I participated in many extracurricular activities for example folklore, artistic gimnastic and I spend unforgettable moments with my partners.
When I finished school, I began to study Bachelor´s in History in 2011 and finished in 2016, but always dance, I investigate different styles how tango, modern dance, ballet and others then I knew this is my passion.
In 2016 I started the Dance career at University of Chile where I knew contemporany dance and I discovered that it´s very interesting because is associated with health. At present I am Third superior of the career and  also practise dance of Polynesian since last year , principally otea´s and aparimas.

opinion about learning English

1.-it`s easy for me to learn english
It`s easy for me to learn English watching movies, because I repeat dialogos and learnings of pronunciation of diferents countrys like England anda usa. When I see movies, connect the subtitle with say the characters. This help me so much to learn new words and pronunciation.

2.-it`s hard for me to learn
It`s hard for me to learn the grammar, because I don`t remember conjugation of verbs.

3.-somethings I want to learn in this course is
I want to learn in this course to speak sentences and I would like talk flow.

4.-I learn best in classes where the teacher
I learn best in classes where the teacher explains with the examples the movies and where have to talk with the partners and where I have to do oral presentation
 
5.-I participate more in class when
I participate more in class when I have to talk with my partners and the class have music in English.
